Acceptable Use Policy

Effective: March 24, 2026 · Last updated: March 24, 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines prohibited activities on AgentSign, operated by Dead App Corp, a registered Missouri corporation owned by The Dead App Corp Trust. Violation of this policy may result in certificate revocation and permanent ban from the service.

2. Prohibited Activities

False Registration

You may not register organizations under names you do not own or control. You may not provide false state registration information. Corporate registrations are verified against Secretary of State records; fraudulent submissions will be rejected and may result in a permanent ban.

Impersonation

You may not register agents that you do not own or operate. Registering another party's agent without their authorization is strictly prohibited.

Misrepresentation

You may not use an AgentSign certificate to misrepresent the capabilities, safety, or compliance status of an agent beyond what the certificate explicitly certifies. Certificates reflect self-attestation at the time of registration, not ongoing guarantees.

3. Rate Limits and Abuse

The following rate limits are enforced to protect the service:

Automated scraping of the directory for spam, unsolicited marketing, or commercial data harvesting is prohibited. Legitimate integrations that respect rate limits and serve end users are permitted.

4. Enforcement

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy will result in one or more of the following actions at our sole discretion:

We reserve the right to take enforcement action without prior notice in cases of egregious abuse.

5. Reporting Abuse

If you believe an agent or organization is violating this policy, please report it to billy@deadapp.info with the relevant cert ID or organization name.
